Terrorism in India : Whose puppet?

"A mere statement of L-e-T terrorist Ajmal Kasab, who was executed on November 21, about Saeed’s involvement in the 2008 Mumbai attacks could not be the only evidence to nail Saeed. “It needs further corroboration,” (Source: The Hindu)

- This was said by Pakistan's Internal Minister Rehman Malik on 14-12-12, when India wanted Pakistan's permission to take into custody Hafiz Saeed, the person who was called as Mastermind of 26/11 attacks by Ajmal Kasab and who is believed to be the active member of Lashkar-e-Taiba. While the Indian home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde was confident that India will have custody of the suspect for investigation, it is now a disheartening news that this will not happen not only to him, but the public as well who were hoping to gain some development on the 26/11 case.

Who is Hafiz Saeed?

  • Hafiz Muhammad Saeed was born in 1950 in Sargodha, Punjab and moved to Lahore during the partition of India.
  • He was the amir(ruler) Jama'at-ud-Da'wah, one of the largest and most active Islamic terrorist organisation acting mainly from Pakistan.
  • The United Nations declared Jama'at-ud-Da'wah as a terrorist organization and Hafiz Saeed as its leader in December 2008.
  • Recently Ajmal kasab the one who was hanged recently for the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai stated Hafiz saeed as the mastermind behind the attacks.
  • He is considered a terrorist by India because of his ties with Lashkar-e-taiba and its continuous attacks on India.
Having said all these facts,  any activities related to a particular terrorist organisation shall be traced back to it's most active front line members. In Mumbai terror attacks on 26/11 the lone survivor Ajmal kasab is a member of LeT and though Hafiz saeed has pleaded that he is in no way related to Lashkar-e-taiba, on the basis of doubt, Indian government  must have been given permission to take under custody hafiz saeed for investigation. Hafiz Saeed has been freely moving around in Pakistan and is also indulged in provocative anti-India rhetoric.

But even after Ajmal Kasab' statement that Hafiz Saeed is the mastermind behind the 26/11 attacks the Pakistan Interior Minister has rejected the request for taking Hafiz Saeed into custody, stating that a mere statement by a terrorist is not enough, keeping in mind the relations between India & Pakistan in the past, an interior minister must have made sure that even the slightest possibility for doubts for their good relationship with India. But his statement has made people question "Why the Pakistan Govt. is not accepting the statement of a dangerous terrorist against a person who is considered as even more dangerous??"

If Pakistan is shielding Hafiz Saeed, allowed him to roam freely in Pakistan but hesitating to handover him to India, what value must he have to them?? Whether he has information about Pakistan's involvement in Terrorism in India?? Or is the entire terrorism attacks on India are held by Pakistan in the name of these organisations and these organisations and terrorists are just mere puppets??

To all these questions not time can answer but it lies with Hafiz Saeed. The truths shall unfold only when he is handed to India. To make this a possibility the Indian Govt. must make serious demands until which this won't be a possibility and people here will be believing the terrorist attacks are just a mere show by Pakistan.

One man can change it.!! -Narendra Modi

Narendra Damodardas Modi born on 17 Sept 1950 is at present Indian youngsters most favorite Indian politician. He has changed all the hatred the youths had towards politics and now he has inspired thousands of youth to make an entry to Indian Politics. That's what the call as One seed yields lots of fruits where Narendra Modi is the seed.

Narendra Modi is known for his aggressive style both in campaigning and in action which made L.K.Advani choose Modi to lead the election campaign in Gujarat in 1998.Then Narendra Modi became Gujarat's Chief Minister in 2001 October. Modi's tenure as Gujarat's Chief Minister began in Oct-7 2001 and till date he is the CM of Gujarat he became Gujarat's longest serving CM in July 2007.

Development of Gujarat under Modi:

Modi took charge when Gujarat's economy was shrinking and Domestic growth was stagnant. But due to Modi's extra-ordinary efforts and only mindset of improving Gujarat's status the state saw an incredible 10% growth in GDP(Gross Domestic Product) during his first tenure which was the highest of all the Indian States then. Modi put forth lots of plans for the development of the state some of the Important ideas which were successfully implemented also include
1.Agricultural research labs in rural ares.
2.Electrify every village.
3.To educate and train every Government employee.

In the past 12 years Gujarat's GDP has been growing at a rate of 12% matching only that of China's.Gujarat holds for 16% of India's export and 17% of GDP.

Gujarat has bagged several prestigious awards like UN Sasakawa Award for disaster mitigation, CAPAM award for innovation in governance, UNESCO award, CSI award for e-governance and Indiatech award in power sector.Gujarat has been awarded World's largest Solar plant from Clinton Foundation.

It is also expected that Gujarat may provide 1/3rd of India's GDP sooner..!!!!!!

What made this possible??

After reading this one question that arises in our minds is If one man can do it in one state then why can's we do it in other states?? 40% of people in urban India have voted for Narendra Modi's Gujarat to be India's least corrupted state.!!!Incidentally, Modi is the only political figure anywhere in the world that WikiLeaks cables from the U.S. diplomatic establishment have shown in a positive light.

All these achievements possible because of the above statement. When the leader is corrupt then it leads every followers mind to be corrupt too but when the leader is non-corrupt then there is a probability of the followers to change too and in Gujarat all the ideas are seen in action and not in just words. Modi never promises to give anything free to anybody cause he believes everyone should earn their living. These are the major facts that moved
Gujarat between the extremes..!!!

After reading all this everyone wants to have a leader like Narendra Modi..!!! But who wants to be one like Narendra Modi??!!?? Do you... Common the future India lies in our hands.. Lets change it from darkness to Lightning.

Economics is all life is about !!

It's nearly 2 AM and am unable to sleep even after rolling around in the bed for 30 mins, maybe the three hours sleep this afternoon could be one of the reasons. Thinking of what to do, I decide to blog. And to blog about what?? Recently I've tried to think of something to blog about but I seem to have lost my sense of thinking (Thanks to the B-School training), and then I decided that I should not log out without writing a post and publishing it. So here I am sharing about my Economic status.

The recent past I learnt that to become a B-Grad you must definitely know your basics in Economics, how  markets work, what makes people buy, their income levels, how the growth will be in the future etc etc., and the best part learning economics is that you can see how it goes with you. This is what I could think of while hearing the common economic terms that am hearing recently in accordance with me.

1. Unemployment :
I had to ask help from the spell check even to spell out this word, thus has been my relationship with unemployment in the past. Never known about it since I joined my MBA right after my Under Graduation and also when completing that I had a job at my discretion  but recently I feel as if I will be having a good relationship with it soon :P and we'll see what fate has for me in the cards. Before I joined here I was in the Voluntary unemployment category, and when I complete my MBA I don't know if I will be in the Structural unemployment segment, and I hope after I get my job and wish to change I don't do stupid mistakes and end up in the Frictional unemployment segment.

2. Types of Money:
The major confusion we had when discussing for the exams was this topic, with regards to the Indian economy. The American type of illustration is what is given at most places so we had to find about it separately for the Indian context. Here I will say about the types of money that I possess :

M0: Currency in circulation:
Obviously in the case of a college student and that too one without a prior job savings this is the hardest part in college life :P. The currency in circulation or the liquid money that I posses is high during the beginning of the month and reaches to the minimum balance to be maintained in case of contingencies a few hours later after paying my bills and debts to my friends. And after that I go around raising my debts for that current month.

M1: M0+ Demand deposits:
M1 AKA Narrow money is narrower in my case and in many circumstances it will be the minimum balance to be maintained in the account, and this money is sparred because my debit card doesn't allow me to draw money after the minimum balance has been "achieved". I bet I will soon find a way to utilize this money too.

M2,M3,M4:
With me M2 M3 M4 are all types of money only in economics classes and I got nothing to do with it in real life. I will soon update this status provided the hypotheses I provide with unemployment stays true. :)

3. Inflation:
My experience with inflation started after I reached hostel for doing my MBA, before which I was in my home and there were fewer limits for my dispensable "income" from my father (which is known in many homes around TN as thendasoru) but once I reached the hostel I had to restrict my expense to the surplus I have after paying my monthly bills, and that remains to be very minimal just enough to fill my bike's thirst.. (damn my bike is one hell of a thirsty one). The pens and pencils which are mandatory for exams are nearly double the price of my last known knowledge, and I also object now for the raise in prices of various commodities that I once supported from my home sitting in front of Television justifying it by the statement "How are the politicians supposed to support the nation without having sufficient money?" , now I realize what would have the feeling of millions of households who are supposed to support an entire family with an amount which I cannot support myself here.

With these few terms Economics does not end, but as far as my learning it is these and an few other terms that we dream of as a common man to survive and believe in people we elect  that they will provide required help for us to achieve these dreams. The world may spin on it's own but the people who live within that spin and run around with these dreams of economics.
